after being tapped and turned multiple times!

"PASS 98" -  20th Place

 

With showers threatening yet another PASS North SLM race, PASS officials and Wiscasset Raceway hustled along the program, moving the heats right along and putting the SLM race second on the bill. Running the conci after a heat finish outside the top five, Jimmy barely survived being turned around by a bump that sent the #7 up the track and into the path of following traffic. In the feature, Jimmy settled in towards the back of the 31 car field and ran a steady pace. The leaders set a quick pace and were soon putting cars a lap down. With showers approaching Jimmy wound up on the outside of the front row in the final restart at lap 94. The rain cut the race short at lap 98 out of a planned 125 with the #7 scored in 20th place.

   

"PASS 150" - 19th Place

125 Laps at Wiscasset - 23rd Place

After rain washed out the May 3rd PASS North SLM race at Speedway 95, the series headed to Wiscasset Raceway for a 125 lap contest. After a good draw and a front row start in Heat 3, Jimmy started the feature from the 6th spot. At mid-race Jimmy was caught up in a series of incidents that resulted in spins. The #7 made a couple of pit stops to check things out. Then, exiting turn four the left front spindle ripped off the upright, destroying the rotor and caliper on the way. Jimmy went hard into the main straight tire wall and the #7 suffered considerable body damage. Waving to the fans, Jimmy exited behind a wrecker for a 23rd place finish. A thorough check back in the pits showed little chassis or suspension damage except for the left front corner, so the team expects to have the #7 ready for White Mountain on the 24th.

2008 Season Opener - 22nd Place - "THE CABIN FEVER 150" - PASS North Super Late Models

With a game plan of running the full PASS North Super Late Model Series in 2008, Team Chambers Racing started off their season at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon, April 19th. With a 7th place run in Heat #3, Jimmy transferred to the 150 lap feature in 21st spot out of 31 entries. The action and yellow filled feature saw Jimmy battling in two wide packs and avoiding several incidents. A multi-car tangle in turn four in the late stages of the race damaged the #7c and led to the retirement of the car to the infield and a 22nd position finish.
